High-power laser cube beam splitter

Less ghosting than a plate beam splitter.

Produced by Spectral Optics, the cube-shaped beam splitter is used because it has no angular displacement and fewer ghosts than plate beam splitters. It has a dielectric partial reflection coating on the inside. All four sides are coated with anti-reflective (AR) coating for specific wavelengths. Please input collimated, parallel light. The bonded cube beam splitter can be used up to 1064nm at 1J/cm². The new molecular fusion bonding technology from Spectral Optics allows for permanent bonding, creating an optically connected unit. This enables their use in very high energy/high power laser applications. No optical cement or other materials that degrade coating performance are used.

Polarizing cube beam splitter for high-power lasers

The laser beam is split into two orthogonal polarization components.

The cube beam splitter consists of two right-angle prisms coated with a special dielectric coating. The polarizing cube beam splitter divides a laser beam into two orthogonal polarization components or is used to combine them into one beam. It transmits P-polarization and reflects S-polarization at 90°. In low-power applications, the cube is assembled using a transparent refractive index matching adhesive at the junction with two 90° right-angle prisms. It can be used up to 1064nm at 1 J/cm². Please enter from the marked surface. Optical contact cubes offer good beam quality, high damage thresholds, a wide wavelength range, and wavefront accuracy, but they are not mechanically stable due to the fragile nature of the optically contacted interface. The new molecular fusion bonding technology from Spectral Optics permanently bonds without using cement or other materials that degrade coating performance.

Broadband Polarizing Cube Beam Splitter

Broadband polarizing beam splitter cube made from SF2 glass.

Spectras Optics supplies broadband polarizing beam splitter cubes made from SF2 glass. Since SF2 glass has a high refractive index, the broadband polarizing cube beam splitter can be used for high-performance wideband applications. For low and medium power lasers, up to 1 J/cm².

Non-polarizing wideband cube beam splitter

Non-polarizing cube beam splitter for the 400-700 nm or 700-1100 nm range for broadband use.

The non-polarizing broadband cube beam splitter consists of two right-angle prisms joined at a partially reflective surface on the internal face. The four sides of the beam splitter cube are coated with broadband anti-reflective coating, designed for the ranges of 450–700 nm or 750–1100 nm. - Made of BK7 - Cement for low power applications - Typical damage threshold: > 0.1 J / cm², 10 Hz @ 1064 nm - Broadband anti-reflective coating: R < 1% @ 450-700 nm, or R < 1% @ 750-1100 nm The cube has a 50:50 split ratio and is available in four different sizes. The product is offered either mounted in an M2P mount or without a mount.

Non-polarizing cube beam splitter

Non-polarizing cube beam splitter designed for 532nm.

The unpolarized cube beam splitter consists of two right-angle prisms joined by a partially reflective surface on the internal face. All dielectric coatings of the unpolarized laser beam splitter are optimized to be insensitive to polarization at the designed wavelength. The coatings maintain both S-polarized and P-polarized components so that the ratio of reflection to transmission is the same across a specific laser wavelength range.
